Founded in 2001, Caught My Fancy has always been based upon a passion for finding and sharing the unusual and anything with distinctive personality, as well as, our beautiful hand painted antiques.
After a decade in Southern California, developing a loyal following and launching the website, Caught My Fancy relocated to Texas. Once here we opened a boutique store in the River Oaks Shopping Center in Houston Texas! While there I was honored to be chosen by House Beautiful magazine as "One of the 83 Best Shops" in the United States. The shop was wonderful, as I enjoy creating window displays and pretty vignettes, but I wasn't left with much time for anything else. This included my first LOVE, which is hunting for antiques and vintage treasures, and once found, if needed I love to paint and transform them ~ this is my passion. So I made a decision to close my brick and mortar shop and get back to what I really love. Our furniture and accessories are always changing but what remains constant is the quality and appeal. We carefully select items with an eye towards the smaller finer details and a high level of craftsmanship. This gives each piece that certain something special, that leaves one with the feeling of having truly found a treasure!
